We have had a lot of interest and questions through phone calls and emails about our Feedlot Sorting. I'll try to answer those questions and give some insight here. Feedlot Sorting is also known as Ranch Sorting, Team Sorting or Cattle Sorting. If you own a horse and a saddle and like to ride and move cows, you'll enjoy Feedlot Sorting. Notice I said "move cows" and not "chase cows". That is the biggest difference between Sorting and Penning. Sorting is a slower paced event. Walking and jogging is about it. Any horse, rider and saddle will do for Sorting. You can learn as you go, at your own pace. Our Sortings are geared for having fun, learning and improving as much as you want. Come on out and watch. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy, fun, friendly and down to earth you find it here.
Saturday October 13th Feedlot Sorting Jeff was the chief cook and bottle washer this week and did a darned good job of making some great burgers and hot dogs.

The Jackpot winners were Joe and Larry Blagg. Congratulations guys. You and your horses get better each week!! We ran late into the evening. The cool night air made the campfire that much more enjoyable. It was a great time!!
